Which steam generators run on a 240 V circuit?
25 steam products here list a 240 V supply, 13 of them 208 V as well. Each maker states its own amps and breaker, quoted on each product page; have a licensed electrician check your circuit against the installation manual. 23 of the 25 have a published list price from the maker, from $2,822 to $7,275.
Read each maker's own wording on voltage, amps and breaker before you look at price, because the generator's circuit belongs in the electrical plan for the whole bathroom. Take the product page to a licensed electrician along with a photo of your panel, then narrow by price and warranty.
Picks by the numbers
Each pick is the product that comes first on one figure its maker publishes, with the next ones on that figure after it. Choosing which figures to rank by is our editorial choice; the order on each is the makers' own numbers. None is a judgement of quality, we have not tested these products, and whether we earn a commission on a product never decides a pick.

Prices are the price each maker's own site showed in US dollars on the date shown; the seller's page has the current price. Warranties and safety listings are the makers' own statements, cited on each product page. A price starting 'From' is the cheapest configuration a maker offers, which may leave out the heater or options. Every product here is sold by its maker on the maker's own site.
